The humbuckers are designed to accommodate Synyster's versatile playing style, offering enough roughness to deliver meaty chords and harmonics while still providing clean tones suitable for intricate lead work. Its large pole pieces and hot output allows players to deliver devastating soundscapes, while the hand wax potting eliminates unwanted feedback and squeal for the ultimate performance.
Stylish Mahogany Body
The Schecter Synyster Standard's body is constructed from high-quality mahogany, producing powerful tones and a sweet sonic punch. The mahogany tonewood offers naturally rich, warm characteristics, with a balance of grind and bite to create tight lows and appealing highs. The wood also delivers an excellent amount of depth, providing the guitar with an incredible sustain and resonance. The body is finished with Synyster’s iconic pinstripe design, featuring a gloss black colour with silver stripes and black hardware to create a visually stunning guitar.
Maple Neck & Ebony Fingerboard
The Signature Schecter's maple neck provides a bright characteristics, creating a snappy attack in the midrange and a sizzling high end. When the strings are played hard, the wood adds extra layers of punch to the tone, while light to medium picking offers more clarity. The addition of an ebony fingerboard enhances the Synyster Gates Standard with a beautifully bright, responsive attack, with its natural feel delivering a smooth performance and plenty of overtones. It also comes with many other features including Schecter machine heads which offer smooth, fine tuning and great stability, and a pearloid 'Syn' inlay with a death bat at the 12th fret.
Fast Performance & Stable Design
The neck and fingerboard offer an incredibly smooth performance, providing a fast playing experience ideal for shredding and soloing. The ultra-thin ‘C’ profile is designed to offer the ultimate comfort for technical players, allowing the fretting hand to naturally cup the neck to ensure comfort across the entire fingerboard. The neck is also designed with carbon fibre reinforcement rods to prevent bowing, no matter how much string tension the neck is under.

The ‘Hot Rod’ tremolo is based on Floyd’s original model, offering plenty of warmth and sustain thanks to its large block base. The bridge works in tangent with the locking nut, increasing string stability and preventing the strings from detuning after excessive bending.
